Role Overview: Lead HSE and Sustainability Manager
A prominent industrial group in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Lead HSE and Sustainability Manager to oversee safety protocols and environmental strategies for large-scale industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental management systems that align with both local UAE regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of HSE policies and sustainability frameworks across all project phases.
- Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments to ensure a zero-harm environment for all staff and contractors.
- Monitor waste management, energy consumption, and carbon footprint reduction initiatives to meet corporate sustainability goals.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders and government authorities regarding compliance and permits.
- Provide mentorship and training to on-site safety officers and engineering teams to foster a culture of safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent professional certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, specifically within the industrial or heavy construction sector.
- Proven track record in sustainability reporting and implementing green building standards.
- Strong leadership skills and proficiency in both English and Arabic.

- الحصول على شهادة نيبوش (NEBOSH) الدولية.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في مجال الصحة والسلامة المهنية، خاصة في القطاع الصناعي.
- مهارات قيادية قوية والقدرة على إدارة الفرق في المواقع الإنشائية والصناعية.
- إجادة اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية بطلاقة.
