We are currently seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to focus on edge computing, bridging the gap between high-performance algorithms and real-world device constraints. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical challenge of making complex models run efficiently on low-power chips.
The Role and Responsibilities
As a lead engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of edge-deployed models. This includes everything from initial architectural decisions to final optimization. You will work alongside firmware engineers and product managers to define what is possible at the edge, ensuring our users get real-time responses without the need for constant cloud connectivity.
Requirements
- Educational Background: A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Programming Proficiency: Deep knowledge of C++ and Python is essential for this role.
- Edge Frameworks: Extensive experience with TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, OpenVINO, or ONNX Runtime.
- Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with ARM architectures, NVIDIA Jetson, or similar embedded systems.
- Leadership: Proven ability to mentor a team and manage technical project timelines.
