We are searching for a high-level Principal Cloud Architect to join a leading FinTech firm based in New York. This role focuses on bridging the gap between legacy infrastructure and modern cloud environments, ensuring our financial platforms remain secure, scalable, and lightning-fast for global users. This is a critical position that requires both strategic vision and the ability to get into the technical weeds when necessary.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
The ideal candidate will oversee the transition of sensitive financial data to hybrid environments while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards. You will be expected to design robust architectures that can handle massive transaction volumes without breaking a sweat.
- Minimum of 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years specifically in Cloud Architecture within the financial sector.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and On-premise data centers is non-negotiable.
- Strong background in FinTech security protocols and compliance such as PCI-DSS and SOC2.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and building automated CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
- Ability to lead a team of DevOps engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation.
