The UAE's telecommunications sector is witnessing a significant shift as major providers expand their satellite connectivity services to cover remote areas and offshore operations. This infrastructure growth has created an immediate need for specialized professionals, particularly Technical Support Engineers and Customer Experience Managers. These roles are essential for maintaining network reliability and ensuring high satisfaction levels for a growing enterprise client base.
Job Roles and Key Responsibilities
As the network expands, the focus is on bridging the gap between complex satellite technology and user satisfaction. The current recruitment drive targets two main areas:
- Technical Support Engineer: You will be responsible for troubleshooting VSAT systems, managing satellite link budgets, and providing real-time technical assistance for remote ground stations.
- Customer Experience Manager: This role involves designing the client journey, analyzing feedback from enterprise customers, and ensuring that the service delivery meets international standards.
Requirements
Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or IT for technical roles.
- A degree in Business or Marketing for CX positions.
- Proven experience in satellite communications (VSAT, L-band, or Ka-band).
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Relevant certifications such as GVF (Global VSAT Forum) or CCNA are a plus.
