Ras Al Khaimah is undergoing a significant transformation with major infrastructure developments across the emirate. As these projects scale up, there is an immediate need for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and Planning Engineers to manage complex civil works and ensure timely delivery. These roles are central to the success of regional expansion plans, focusing on high-value roadworks, utilities, and urban development. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the entire commercial lifecycle of the project, from initial estimations to final account settlements, ensuring all financial aspects are managed with precision. Meanwhile, the Planning Engineer will lead the development of baseline schedules and provide critical path analysis to keep construction on track and mitigate risks before they affect the timeline.
Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS)
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering. MRICS status is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in post-contract management and final accounts for infrastructure projects.
- Skills: Expertise in FIDIC contracts, variations, and cost reporting is essential for this senior role.
Planning Engineer
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience specifically within infrastructure and road projects in the GCC.
- Skills: Mastery of Primavera P6, EOT claims, and detailed progress monitoring.
