Dubai is pushing the boundaries of engineering again with its massive floating urban district projects. This isn't your standard high-rise work; it involves complex marine structures and innovative sustainable designs. We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who can manage the unique cost challenges associated with building on water.
Job Description & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of these offshore developments. You'll handle everything from initial cost estimation and feasibility studies to procurement, contract administration, and final account settlements. Coordination with marine engineers and environmental consultants is a huge part of the daily grind here.
Main Tasks:
- Preparing detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for marine and land-based components.
- Managing variations and claims in a high-stakes environment.
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and verify payment applications.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure the project stays within budget.

- التنسيق مع المهندسين البحريين لضمان الالتزام بالميزانية.
Requirements / المتطلبات
We need someone with at least 10 years of experience, ideally with some exposure to marine or offshore projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- MRICS or equivalent professional membership is a big plus.
- Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts.
