Senior Quantity Surveyor for High-Speed Rail Infrastructure in California
California is currently developing one of the most ambitious high-speed rail projects in the world, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale infrastructure that will redefine transportation in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project costs from inception to completion for rail infrastructure assets.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor contracts.
- Conduct risk management and value engineering to ensure project efficiency.
- Negotiate final accounts and resolve contractual disputes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, with a focus on major infrastructure or rail projects.
- Chartered status (MRICS) or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of standard contract forms and international construction standards.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and BIM integration.
