We are currently searching for a Software Engineer and a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join a team focused on smart grid integration. These roles are critical for ensuring that software systems communicate effectively with hardware components to stabilize power distribution across the state. This project is at the forefront of the renewable energy transition, requiring dedicated professionals who understand both software logic and physical system constraints.
Available Positions and Responsibilities
We are looking for individuals who can hit the ground running. Here is a breakdown of what the team needs:
1. Software Engineer (Integration)
In this role, you will focus on developing the APIs and backend services that manage data flow between smart meters and the central grid management system. Key duties include designing robust integration modules, collaborating with hardware engineers to troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimizing data processing for real-time grid monitoring. Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java is essential.
2. QA Specialist (Quality Assurance)
The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for building automated test suites to verify system reliability. We need someone who can find edge cases and potential failure points before they impact the actual power grid. You should have experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks, and be comfortable performing load testing on high-traffic data streams.
