Role Overview: Strategic Logistics Leadership
Managing a fleet across international borders requires a blend of strategic oversight and operational precision. We are currently seeking a Head of Fleet Management and Lean Logistics to bridge operations between Canada and the United Kingdom. This senior role focuses on implementing Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and reduce waste in complex supply chain environments. If you are a veteran in logistics and distribution management, this position offers the opportunity to lead large-scale ERP implementation services and optimize cross-border operations.
Key Responsibilities / Hauptaufgaben
- Operational Excellence: Oversee fleet operations across Canada and the UK, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Lean Strategy: Lead Lean Operations Strategy initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.
- Six Sigma Implementation: Apply Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies to identify and eliminate process bottlenecks.
- Technology Integration: Manage the deployment and maintenance of advanced Supply Chain Management Software.
- Fuhrparkmanagement: Überwachung des Fuhrparkbetriebs in Kanada und GB unter Einhaltung lokaler Vorschriften.
- Prozessoptimierung: Anwendung von Six Sigma-Methoden zur Identifizierung und Behebung von Prozessengpässen.
Requirements / Anforderungen
Candidates must possess a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and have a proven track record in Business Process Outsourcing or logistics management. A minimum of 10 years in operations management training or a related field is required. Proficiency in both English and German is highly preferred to manage global stakeholders effectively. Experience with high-level enterprise tools is essential for success in this role.
