Key Responsibilities & Scope
The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading the cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, and finance to develop highly accurate demand plans. Key duties include:
- Utilizing advanced Supply Chain Management Software to analyze market trends and historical data.
- Integrating demand forecasts with ERP implementation services to optimize inventory levels.
- Applying Lean Operations Strategy and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and improve forecast accuracy.
- Collaborating on regional logistics and distribution management to avoid product stockouts.

Requirements / Anforderungen / المتطلبات
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. (An MBA or Operations Management Training is highly desirable).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) and advanced supply chain planning tools.
- A Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification is considered a strong asset.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; proficiency in German is a plus given GM's global operations.
