We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Director of External Manufacturing Operations to join a leading global firm in Lucerne, Switzerland. This critical leadership role sits at the intersection of Lean Operations Strategy and global partner management, ensuring that external supply networks meet the highest standards of quality, cost, and delivery.

Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will oversee third-party manufacturing organizations (CMOs) across Europe. You will apply advanced principles of Logistics and Distribution Management, driving efficiency through continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Manage strategic relationships with external manufacturing partners to ensure robust product supply.
• Collaborate with global procurement and logistics teams to optimize the end-to-end supply chain.
• Implement Lean Operations Strategy across external sites to eliminate waste and reduce cycle times.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage ERP Implementation Services for seamless data integration.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in external manufacturing, CMO management, or high-level operations.
• Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or equivalent Lean credentials are strongly desired.
• Skills: Deep understanding of Supply Chain Management Software, ERP systems, and global distribution regulations.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in German or Arabic is a major asset for local and regional coordination.
