Talabat is currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Logistics Operations to join its dynamic team in Cairo, Egypt. Key Responsibilities & Lean Operations
The successful candidate will spearhead logistics and distribution management, leveraging modern supply chain management software to optimize delivery times and rider utilization. By applying a robust lean operations strategy, you will eliminate bottlenecks, improve unit economics, and build highly efficient dispatch workflows across urban networks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: At least 6 to 8 years of experience in logistics, last-mile operations, or supply chain management, preferably in on-demand delivery or high-volume e-commerce.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration. A Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or operations management training is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with ERP implementation services, data analytics, and advanced fleet management solutions.
- Languages: Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English is required. German language skills are a valuable asset for coordinating with global parent-company teams.
Operating in Cairo requires a deep understanding of urban dynamics and rapid infrastructure shifts.
