Hitachi Energy is actively recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Specialist (Lean & Six Sigma) based in Zurich, Switzerland. This strategic role is designed to drive operational excellence, streamline supply chain operations, and foster a strong culture of continuous improvement across key business units.
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional leadership to transform processes, eliminate operational waste, and boost production efficiency.
- Lead strategic Lean Operations Strategy initiatives and Lean manufacturing projects across regional facilities.
- Execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt Certification level DMAIC projects to reduce defects and cycle time.
- Mentor operational teams and facilitate Kaizen workshops, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
- Collaborate with supply chain management software teams to improve data-driven operational transparency.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical disciplines.
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience leading process improvement programs in industrial or high-tech settings.
- Languages: Professional proficiency in English; fluency in German or Arabic is an added advantage for cross-border collaboration.
