Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
The Outbound Logistics Specialist will play a critical role in Logistics and Distribution Management at LIPTON Egypt. You will collaborate closely with regional distributors, monitor fleet management solutions, and utilize advanced Supply Chain Management Software to track shipments and optimize delivery routes.
- Manage day-to-day outbound shipping schedules and resolve distribution bottlenecks.
- Implement Lean Operations Strategy to reduce lead times and minimize transit costs.
- Oversee performance metrics for third-party logistics (3PL) and transport providers.
- Support ERP implementation services for warehouse management updates.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following professional criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics, specifically outbound operations within the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Supply Chain Management Software.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies or holding a Green/Black Belt certification is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic; German is an asset.
